school is a waste of time
i never need to study
forever is as long as it seems
i don't care what you think at all
i'm terrible at making friends
art has absolutely no role in my life whatsoever
i know exactly who i am
i am 100% mature in every way
music is nothing but noise ringing in my ears

science is my favorite subject
i have very little self respect

Trying not to fall in love

Trying not to fall in love
Is as pointless
As trying to count how many licks
It takes to get to the center
Of a Tootsie-pop

No matter how hard you try

From taking a bite

Hidden

...and it's then that you get to say

A world you thought they knew so well
Then you looked
Underneath the veil of a smile

You discovered
That, in truth,
There is so much more you'd never known

Of another child left behind
In the past

A different girl
Who's still a part of me

The difference in the two

I once wrote a poem about a boy
who made me feel happy.

Sometimes.

Then I met the boy
who did so much more.

The way children love

Joyful
Little ones all over the world

They view the world differently
Seeing what we cannot

Loving unconditionally
Gliding though the days
Smiling
With each step that is taken

Spontaneity
Creativity flowing through their minds
Their souls
And their hearts

I'm back!

I'm going to try and update this blog a lot more from now on. I have some poetry that I haven't uploaded...
I've just been so focused on my Photo Blog
